Working with the File Manager feels like working with your computer. The in-built drag 'n' drop functionality will allow you to easily move files between your desktop PC and the hosting server. Just select the file that you wish to upload from your computer and then drag it over to your browser window. The same goes for downloading a file from the File Manager to your hard disk. Additionally, you can download files and even folders to your PC by pushing the Download button.
Easy File Editing Options
With the File Manager, you can create a brand new file or folder with just one click of the mouse. All action buttons are conveniently placed above the file/folder list and you can edit your files without difficulty. It does work surprisingly fast - simply select the files you want to make a compressed archive of and push the Compress button. You can even select the archive file format (.rar, .zip, etc.). There is an image viewer, which allows you to view the contents of your image files to get an idea of how the images will in fact show up on your web site. Plus, you will find several integrated file editors, which will give you total command over your files. The plain text editor and the code editor are designed for more knowledgeable individuals, while the WYSIWYG editor (where you can view all HTML source code changes in real time) is also suitable for technically inexperienced individuals.
